‘I’m not racist, but…’ Young People’s Festival of Ideas

We bring you another evening of discussion that promise to challenge ideas and provoke debate among young people.

This event will explore the greyscale of racism and how it affects the lives of young people today:
Do you feel Bristol is an inclusive city?
What makes us prejudice?
What does racism mean to you?
Are we inherently racist?
How do events in media affect people’s racial prejudice?

Brought to you by an event partnership between Bristol Festival of Ideas, Salaam Shalom, and Young Arnolfini, the event is open to all:

FREE for Under 25’s (£5 full / £3 conc. for 25+)

Shabana Kausar will chair the panel made up of: award-winning novelist Alex Wheatle; spoken word artist Vanessa Kissule; Halima Jama from Unity Youth Forum and more TBA!
