Building the Bridge Conference 2008
RADIO SALAAM SHALOM PARTNERS WITH CITY COUNCIL FOR FIRST INTERCULTURAL CONFERENCE WEBCAST
In a first for Radio Salaam Shalom, Bristol City Council's hugely successful Building the Bridge conference, that took place on Saturday March 15th 2008 - was streamed live via our website.

Sharing their keynote addresses with listeners around the world were leading voices in the UK Muslim community and some very high profile guests, all of whom spoke later to Radio Salaam Shalom's reporters.
Here's who attended the conference, from the station: Kyle Hannan (Station Manager / presenter of Best of Bristol), Valerie Emmott (co-ordinator) , presenters Shagufta K Iqbal, Shabana Iqbal (The Shabs n G show), Naomi Levav (Crossing Cultures).
Highlights included, presenter Danyel (pictured right)(The Message) interviewing the UK's best-known Somali comedian, Prince Abdi, at the Radio Salaam Shalom stand!
Sam Downie (presenter of Bristol Sounds) looked after the LIVE audio/video stream from the conference, broadcasting worldwide via the Justin.tv video platform.
